Prospective Students

Learn more about the Integrative Sciences Initiative and how to become part of our interdisciplinary experience.

What Kind of Education Does ISI Offer?

Through the Integrative Sciences Initiative (ISI), students will learn to work in teams to apply fundamental concepts in molecular sciences to solve problems using industry-relevant techniques.

Students engaging in our inquiry-driven first-year undergraduate curriculum, will encounter an enriching and active educational experience that intentionally connects traditional first-year courses in chemistry, biology, math, and writing, fostering a spirit of inquiry and collaborative team science. The curriculum provides an expanded perspective of what science can accomplish, inspiring you to become a leader in interdisciplinary research.
